ABOUT GRANT STREET RECORDS

The albums that should’ve been on your mixtape. New bands, fresh anthems, and the sound of 1986--alive again.

Let Hear the Songs!

What You’ll Find Here...

  • New bands that sound like they stepped out of 1986.

  • Music made for cassette decks, not algorithms.

  • Songs that feel like they should’ve been hits but got lost in another timeline.

  • A club (yeah, Tape Club) where the real fans collect the versions you can’t stream anywhere else.

This isn’t retro cosplay. It’s not parody.
This is about keeping the feeling alive. Together.

THE GSR CODE

đŸ€˜We believe
the best mixtape was the one you made off the radio--complete with DJ chatter and cut-off endings.

đŸ€˜We believe in fixing a tape with a pencil, not replacing it.

đŸ€˜We believe you haven’t lived until you rode your bike until the streetlights came on.

đŸ€˜We believe in the healing power of the mall, the arcade and the food court.

đŸ€˜We believe music videos were events, not background noise.

đŸ€˜We believe the Walkman was freedom — and nothing hits like rewinding with your thumb and stopping it just right.

đŸ€˜We believe the louder the boom box, the better the summer.

đŸ€˜We believe your favorite concert tee should be faded, ripped, and still in your drawer.

đŸ€˜We believe rebellion never needed hashtags-- just ripped jeans, loud music, and attitude.

đŸ€˜We believe they don’t make it like they used to
so we’re here to take it back.

WHO'S BEHIND IT?

Hi, I’m Ryan. I grew up on MTV, Walkmans, and mixtapes you played until the ribbon wore out. I’ve spent decades creating businesses, but the truth is
music has always been my first love.

Grant Street Records isn’t just a passion project--it’s my way of giving us all back the soundtrack we’ve been missing. I’m just the guy spinning the reels. This label? It’s ours.
