The night Jen Parker first stepped into Grant Street Studios, the walls practically shook. A kid from the industrial edge of Crestview City, Jen grew up with the sound of factory steam hissing through broken windows and her brother’s record player drowning it out. That mix of noise and melody burned into her bones, shaping a voice equal parts fire and ache.

Her debut, Crash the Sky, is the sound of a woman walking straight through the storm she used to run from. Every track pulses with defiance and soul--from the roar of “Never Back Down” to the cinematic heartbreak of “Storm in Her Eyes.” Produced late at night under flickering lights and constant power surges, the sessions became legend around the label--Jen refusing take after take until it felt alive.
