LUDLOW SAINTS

Three chords. Three saints. One filthy, beautiful truth.

They came up from the cracked sidewalks of the Lower East Side with nothing but cheap guitars, secondhand amps, and a chip on their shoulder. Nico Vega (vocals, guitar), Andre Cole (bass), and Mark Raines (drums) met playing tiny gigs in borrowed basements, trading songs for beer and sleeping in vans between sets. What held them together wasn’t ambition — it was survival, and the need to be heard above the noise.

Their debut, Meet the Saints, sounds like the city itself — rough, fast, and alive. Recorded at Grant Street Studios in a single weekend, every track feels urgent, like the tape might catch fire if it ran one second longer. From the jagged humor of “I Need a Drummer” to the sweaty chant of “No Guest List,” they bottle the feeling of being young, broke, and loud enough to matter.

Ludlow Saints aren’t trying to save rock and roll — they’re just keeping it honest. No polish, no pretense, just three friends with leather jackets, ringing ears, and something worth shouting.
