REDCHURCH
Welcome... to the Empire
When Redchurch formed in the backroom of a dimly lit rehearsal space on Crestview Avenue, no one expected their mix of synth precision and street-level pulse to ignite the city. Frontman Eli Mercer had a poet’s voice and a punk’s stare, blending midnight confession with radio-ready hooks. On keys, Gerard Price built whole skylines from sequenced light—cold, cinematic, and alive. And behind them, Osmond "Ozzie" Howe kept the heartbeat—mechanical yet human, the kind of drummer who could turn a pulse into prophecy.
Their debut Empire isn’t nostalgia—it’s motion. Ten tracks of sleek electricity and aching restraint, where heartbreak meets halogen light. From the hypnotic opener “Touch the Wire” to the euphoric closer “Kings and Queens,” Redchurch capture what it feels like to chase connection in a world made of chrome and static.Â
