UNION POST
Pop with heart, soul and warmth
They met on a rainy night in Elmhurst, two songwriters trading verses at a half-empty cafĂ©. Jason Scott had the voice of a late-night radio confession; Lisa Moreau, a tone that could turn heartbreak into something almost holy. With drummer Paul Anders and bassist Andrea "Andy" Collier rounding out the lineup, Union Post became the quiet storm everyone suddenly knew.Â
By the summer of ’86, the band had found their sound: polished but human, melodic yet deeply felt. Back When We Knew Everything plays like a love letter to innocenc--illed with Sunday-morning guitars, reflective harmonies, and that unmistakable shimmer of truth. Every track feels like a snapshot from a life you almost remember: a hand held too long, a glance across a crowded street, a promise whispered in the dark.
It’s sophistipop with a pulse, the sound of grown-ups remembering how it felt to be young enough to believe they had it all figured out.
