ROCKLAND
Feel good rock straight from '86
They met in the glow of late-night rehearsals at Grant Street Studios--Marty Danner on vocals, Mick Halpern on guitar, Tony Russo on bass, and Wes Carlin behind the drums. Four guys with calloused hands, second-hand amps, and a shared belief that big emotions deserved even bigger choruses. By the time No Easy Way Home hit tape, Rockland had carved a sound that felt like the open road--half heartbreak, half high-beam defiance.
Their songs live where asphalt meets horizon: thunderous guitars, glowing synths, and voices that sound like they’ve seen too much but still won’t quit. From the explosive lift of “Stand Again” to the weary ache of the title track, Rockland plays like a band with everything to lose and nothing left to prove. They don’t chase trends — they chase truth, one anthem at a time.
