RUSHLIGHT
Five voices. One groove.
They came together under the buzzing glow of the Ridgeway Mall arcade--five voices, one shared dream. Rushlight formed when Marcus Lane, Troy Ellis, Devin Rhoades, Carter Vale, and Julian King started singing between food-court shifts, their harmonies echoing off tiled walls until people stopped to listen. What started as late-night parking-lot sessions turned into packed talent shows, then full-blown arena date.
Their debut album, Weekend Arcade, captures that energy--the joy of escape, friendship, and rhythm that never clocks out. Tracks like “She’s Got the Groove” and “Heads Turn” are pure Friday-night electricity, while “Monica” and “Destiny” show the heart beneath the shine. They blend R&B soul and pop sparkle, mixing smooth harmonies with beats that feel like streetlights flickering past on the ride home.
Rushlight are proof that charm, chemistry, and sweat can still make the world move. Every harmony hits like a high score--and the night’s just getting started.
